Unfortunately there are no common Camera and Microphone APIs for mobile devices, like on desktop computers.  This makes it extremely difficult to produce a common API for Flash, although we are trying to find a way :-)

As you know Flash Lite 3.1 only supports Flash9 with AS2 features because right now we do not have AVM1 for AS3.

We are working on this however and showed it running at Adobe MAX in December.
