MagicWizard….that’s it, that is the code name and also the name of the sub-project, and I mean subproject because it is not a prouct for sale, instead it is a product that will extend our current distribution capabilities, it’s also known among our clients that every product or piece of software they use, is actually fully generated by asb-labs.com, the Laiza server is a good example of this.
However when distributing a product is very common to get together all the files and then use a tool to pack them all, and we trust these tools they will release our product as a professional product and hopefully engage some clients in the process, but then this idea came to my mind, I always felt not very comfortable due to the current installation procedure we were using, and that’s why I now annouce MagicWizard.
MagicWizard is a simple and easy to use installation engine, it provides in the same installer the uninstall option when the product is already installed, MagicWizard provides a great user experience which might guarantee engaging not only when using your product but from the beggining of the process of installation and it’s worth it because user experience doesn´t start when using your/a product but since you download it and while installing.
MagicWizard is 100% made using the Adobe Flex 3 Framework so it means it is also done in flash as all our products, as introduction we will be releasing the new Wolf Jukebox version packed using MagicWizard, so check it out and tell us your opinion!
