Today is announced the availability of the second version of AMFPHP which is a library that emulates the existance of methods inside Flash or Flex which are really part of a (server script) php class and thanx to the remoting libraries inside the flash player it is possible such connection.
Nonetheless it has a big problem (I mean the current release) at www.amfphp.org it announces the realease of a second version in beta state, but the download is not yet available only a few comments about the errors it throws when it is bad connected. a possible date will be by the end of the month (by January 2008)
According to the amfphp email list, it is said AMFPHP will include some features which are available inside Flex Data Services now called LiveCycle ES, that includes a better way to handle logins and authentication methods.
Hoy se anuncio la disponibilidad de la segunda version de AMFPHP que es una libreria capaz de emular la ejecución de metodos (funciones) como si fueran parte de Flash o Flex pero en realidad se encuentran fuera como un script de servidor php, y gracias a la existencia de librerias capaces de establecer la conexion en el flash player todo esto se lleva a cabo.
Aunque hay un problema, apesar de que se anunció en el sitio oficial www.amfphp.org la disponibilidad de esta version 2.0 beta, no hay links de descarga y se tienen algunas página informativas acerca de los errores comunes al instalar y depurar usando AMFPHP, una fecha aproximada se cree que sea al final de este mes quizas cerca de enero del 2008.
De acuerdo con la lista de correos de AMFPHP esta versión es posible que utlice caracteristicas que eran “unicas” de Flex+Flex Data Services el ahora LiveCycle ES, caracteristicas como logins y una autenticación más convincente por mencionar algunos.
